VOLUNTEER & EMPLOYMENT INFORMATION

ACCORD provides the majority of its services through the utilization of community volunteers. These volunteers permit the agency to provide a broader array of services to the community than would otherwise be possible.

Because we are aware of the value of our volunteers the board, administration, and staff of ACCORD, recognize that we must devote energy to their recruitment, training, and support.

Each program has a screening process for its volunteers as well as a mandated training curriculum. In addition, each program has requirements for continuing education as well as standards and frequency of practice. Individuals from all walks of life have devoted their time and energy to complete these stringent training requirements and then assisted ACCORD in promoting the peaceful resolution of conflict in our community. The board and staff of ACCORD thank these volunteers for their commitment and service.

Almost 200 individuals donate their time to work with ACCORD's staff toward the peaceful resolution of conflict in our communities. We invite you to join us in this effort.
